Position Summary:

As the Graphic Designer at Tasty Brands, not only are you an ambitious designer, but you are an ultra-creative problem solver with keen attention to detail in your work. As Graphic Designer, you will help to drive creative excellence in supporting our growing brand from dynamic sales collateral such as flyers and pitch decks, to apparel, swag, and direct mail promotional package design direction, you'll help creatively build various marketing & sales driving. You are versed in both print & digital best practices and execute website graphics to print and social media. As a creative team member, you will help to develop and manage agency partners for packaging designs, as well as help to guide photography shoots and styling with freelance photographers. You love working collaboratively with a growing marketing team, and adeptly manage the delicate balance between prioritizing urgency and maintaining meticulous attention to detail.

What You’ll Do:

Sales Collateral: Conceptualize and design compelling sales materials in support of our products, including digital & print flyers, branded pitch decks, PowerPoint decks, event collateral, and product catalogs that effectively communicate brand messaging and drive engagement with target audiences.

Digital Design Support: Develop visually cohesive assets across various platforms, including website graphics, print materials, and social media content, ensuring alignment with brand standards and strategic objectives.

Inspired Out-of-the-Box Creative: You think big about ways to drive sales and brand equity through inspired promotional packages, direct mailers, and event execution.

Photography & Content Creation: Provide direction and guidance to freelance photographers to ensure that visual content captures the essence of the brand and aligns with established style guidelines. Have the know-how and ability to shoot photography and capture content for products, social media, and more!

Brand Identity: Collaborate closely with the Director of Brand Marketing and Marketing Manager to develop innovative design solutions that elevate the Tasty Brands brand identity and support sales growth & overall brand awareness. Play a key role in shaping the Tasty Brands brand identity by consistently upholding visual standards and infusing creativity into all aspects of design work.

Packaging Design: Collaborate with external agency partners to develop packaging designs that reflect the brand's vision and resonate with consumers, while ensuring alignment with strategic goals and timelines.

Photography & Content Creation: Provide direction and guidance to freelance photographers to ensure that visual content captures the essence of the brand and aligns with established style guidelines. Have the know-how and ability to shoot photography and capture content for products, social media, and more!

Collaborate and Communicate: Work closely with the marketing team to understand project requirements, provide updates on project status, and seek feedback to ensure alignment with brand objectives and deadlines.

Balance Urgency with Detail: Skillfully manage competing priorities and deadlines while maintaining meticulous attention to detail in all design work, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and to the highest standard.

Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field.

Minimum of 4+ years of professional experience as a graphic designer, with expertise in both print and digital design.

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).

Strong understanding of typography, color theory, layout, and design principles.

Experience with photography, video, and editing software.

Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and web design principles.

Familiarity with motion graphics and video editing software.

Versed understanding of print production processes and requirements.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Former experience in the food industry or B2B marketing is highly desirable.

Possess a strong portfolio showcasing creativity, innovation, and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
