THE team

Within the SRE Team you can work with AWS technologies as well as Microsoft Windows Server and Linux operating systems.

We are not only dealing with AWS technology, but also heading towards CI/CD and constantly improving our systems by securing services and enabling our organizations to utilize the infrastructure we provide to our internal customers. The team is not only responsible for maintaining the infrastructure setup but also operating our applications and services within the AWS Cloud.

THE tasks

You take end-to-end responsibility for the infrastructure and various applications.

You create sustainable infrastructure within AWS through automation with Terraform.

You plan and execute OS patches, services packs, including testing and deployment.

You do operational support and take over responsibility for all our infrastructure and troubleshoot occurring issues.

You constantly improve our landscape by containerizing specific applications.

You do Terraform code reviews.

THE techstack

Terraform, AWS technologies (EC2, EKS, ECS, EFS, EBS, FSx, S3, and a lot more) Microsoft Windows Server, Linux, Git, Kubernetes, Docker, Grafana, Prometeus, Opensearch, Puppet, Katello, Jenkins and Jenkins DSL

Qualifications

Requirements:

You have 4+ years of work experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or similar position.

You have experience in Linux Administration.

You can create and configure AMIs based on Linux images.

You can troubleshoot issues within AWS and the applications installed to it.

You have excellent knowledge of AWS Cloud Services.

You have proficiency in Terraform.

You are interested in modern technologies.

You can work on your own authority in an agile team.

You have very good English language skills.
