Senior Director Strategy

The role of Head of Strategy is a key leadership position responsibility reporting directly to the Business Unit Head. This role will require an entrepreneurial mindset and will be responsible for building and strengthening capabilities relevant for future growth; for embedding contemporary technology into the company’s solutions and for engaging with decision makers in life sciences companies to help expand Indegene’s footprint and revenues across all the businesses within the remit of BU

Key Responsibilities include:

Craft overall strategy across the sub - business verticals within BU by functioning as the Chief-of-Staff to the BU Head

Engage with senior decision makers in client organizations, regulators and competitors to drive future direction, penetrate into new areas and to breakthrough into new clients

Keeping an eye on the external environment for relevant market trends and new innovations

Strengthen Indegene’s capabilities & intellectual property by crafting investment plan

Assist BU and Corp team in M&A activities including creation of deal thesis, business case, due diligence etc.

Create post-merger integration plans and drive governance

Working closely with Indegene’s technology innovation team to guide the development of technological solutions and IP, and to ensure that the same are embedded in Indegene’s operational processes and engagements at scale

Driving ‘new strategic initiatives’ for the BU as and when they are identified

Job Specification:

15+years of professional experience in corporate strategy, M&A

Graduate Degree in any life sciences area with MBA

Proven track record in engaging with senior decision makers in client organizations

Experience in interacting with a multi-geographic and multi-cultural team

Experience and openness to implement AI and Big Data technologies

Deep understanding of contemporary technology platforms and best practices for data management
