Role summary:

Designation: Assistant Manager – FP&A

Qualifications: Chartered Accountant

Experience: 1-3 Years of relevant work experience is mandatory. Candidate from an MNC would be preferred.

Timely and accurate submission of financial statements: This involves preparing and submitting Profit and Loss (P&L), Balance Sheet (BS), and Monthly Financial Report (MFR) Packs on time and ensuring they are accurate. These reports are crucial for assessing the financial health of the entity.

Inter-company reporting and coordination: This involves liaising with other entities within the group to reconcile balances and ensure accurate financial reporting across the organization.

Primary analysis of inputs: Before inputting data into the Management Information System (MIS) system, it's essential to conduct an initial analysis to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the data being inputted.

Resolving queries: This involves addressing queries from regional and global teams by coordinating with Operations and Commercial Finance teams to gather necessary information and provide accurate responses in a timely manner.

Consolidation and analysis of budgets and forecasts: This entails consolidating and analyzing brand-level budgets and forecasts to provide insights into financial performance and help in decision-making processes.

Preparation and analysis of client profitability, working capital, staff and non-staff costs: This involves analyzing various aspects of financial performance, such as client profitability, working capital management, and costs related to staff and non-staff expenses.

Preparation and analysis of ad-hoc information: This involves responding to management requests for additional financial analysis or information beyond routine reporting requirements.

Identifying cost-saving opportunities: This involves actively seeking out opportunities to reduce costs and improve efficiency within the organization, and presenting detailed recommendations for implementation.

Competencies (Knowledge, Skill and Personal Characteristics / Attributes)

Good in MS Office / Excel

Exposure to SAP Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC); SAP Analytics Cloud and D365 would be preferred.
