AWS Certification is desired
Experience in Firewalls.
Knowledge of Cisco, Ruckus, Aruba
Experience handling Cisco routers & Switches
Experience in ITIL concepts.
1-2 years of experience as a Network engineer.
Strong communication and documentation skills.
Analytical troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Self-driven and able to work independently.
Valid certification is a plus (CCNA, AWS SA/Pro).
Responsibilities
Understanding of Network Infrastructure.
Implement and troubleshoot new network solutions and improve efficiency of current networks.
Able to configure, and support network equipment including routers, switches, firewalls, wireless, load balancers.
Good understanding of DNS, DHCP, wireless and Network Security.
Create, maintain, and troubleshoot firewalls, routers, switches, VPNs, and load balancers.
Communicate network and security incidents to management.
Work with IPsec VPN, client VPN, NAT.
Knowledge on security systems like IDS/IPS, WAF, DDoS protection, AV software, content filtering.
Knowledge or Hands-on AWS infrastructure utilizing VPC, EC2, WAF, Shield, ELB, VPN, transit gateway etc.
Understand AWS services like Ec2, VPC, Direct Connect, IAM, Route53.
Stay updated on the latest technologies, security principles and protocols.
Perform scheduled network upgrades and firmware updates.
Monitor networks and report status to stakeholders.
Utilize tools like Jira, Splunk and Sumo Logic.
Follow ITIL practices for incident, change and service request management.
Ability to work under pressure in stressful scenarios.
