Role Purpose

As Office Services Lead, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the smooth functioning and appearance of the office through the diligent management of all administrative and facilities needs. This position may have direct (hands-on) involvement or provide supervision for a diverse array of services, such as:

Reception management including mail/courier coordination and meeting room bookings.

Inventory organization and management, including office supply purchasing.

Company event support and organization.

Catering request coordination.

Transportation and accommodation coordination.

Key and building access card control.

Building maintenance requests.

Management and execution of various projects simultaneously for multiple departments.

May supervise the work of administrative staff and/or manage a direct report.

Position Requirements

This is an in-office role based in Markham, Ontario, and reports to the Human Resources function. To be successful in this role you will need:

Related administrative experience in a busy, fast-paced office.

Ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels (both written and verbal).

High degree of attention to detail and an eye for aesthetics.

Exceptional organizational and time management skills.

Positive attitude and friendly demeanor, with a willingness to help all business functions.

Previous experience overseeing or coordinating the work of another staff member.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.

Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle during working hours.
