Clojure Quality Engineer

One of our client which is having a global presence is looking for a Quality Engineer-Clojure.

This is a fully remote and contract job opening.

Title: Clojure Quality Engineer

Location: Remote in Canada

Duration: Contract

Responsibilities:

Work independently to prioritize, design, perform, and automate tests for EDI software components.

test automation code primarily in Clojure, but also be prepared to work in other languages and environments if the situation requires it. Integration tests may need to touch other components involving SQL, RabbitMQ, Lisp, and Linux.

CICD components and incorporates in-sprint automation.

severity and priority of defects, usability, test scenarios and business impacts.

with a variety of data formats including X12, XML, and TSV.

with a variety of databases including SQL/Postgres, MarkLogic, and Datomic.

Required Qualifications:

years of progressive experience testing major application integrations or product releases.

years of experience writing automated tests for Clojure using clojure.test or similar.

with Linux command-line tools such as grep and ssh

ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining adherence to standards and best practices.

ability to adopt new technologies quickly.
