Role Description:

This is a full-time on-site role as an Equipment & Compliance Coordinator located in Pointe-Claire, QC. The Equipment & Compliance Swill be responsible for managing and coordinating equipment maintenance and compliance documents.

Key Responsibilities:

Equipment

● Schedule and manage equipment repair for Chassis/Trailers and Company Units

● Warranty tracking and processing, claim for warranty on applicable repairs

● Coordinating with Yard team and shunter on moving equipment

● Handle roadside and after hour calls on moving equipment

● Communicate on all policies related to company assets

● Maintain a PO log for all 3rd party vendors

● Analyze all repairs and expenditures related to chassis, trucks and cranes

Compliance

● Collaborate with safety compliance coordinator with regard to driver compliance with pre/post trip inspection, PEVL violations related to equipment as well as ensuring driver truck manuals have up to date permits, licensing and insurance documents

● Measure companies PEVL and FMCSA SAFER scores monthly

● Update the data related to equipment/driver compliance to Tenthstreet

● Maintain driver files and perform audits

● Update all UIIA and Port RFID tags

● Coordinating and completing Driver random DOT drug test

● Schedule and conduct orientation sessions to familiarize drivers with company policies, procedures, and safety protocols

● Report all DOT, CVOR and PEVL Inspections to the safety Team

Pulling driver abstracts quarterly

Qualifications:

Excellent Communication skills

Experience in conducting compliance audits

Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask

Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

Proficient with Microsoft Office (Mandatory)

Bachelor's or college degree in a related field is preferred

Experience working in the transportation or logistics industry would be an Asset.
