Art Director and Graphic Design

We are seeking a highly motivated, organized, and energetic team player with a keen interest in luxury apparel and impeccable design sensibilities. The successful candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Reporting to the Vice-President and President of the company, the primary responsibility of this role is to collaborate closely with the e-commerce manager in curating materials for our website. Additionally, the candidate will be involved in designing digital content, traditional print media, and broader marketing initiatives.

Required qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or equivalent professional experience.

5+ years of experience in graphic design for both print and web.

Proficiency in Adobe CS/CC Photoshop, with strong retouching and color-correction skills.

Experience in graphic design, typography, and e-commerce creative content.

Proficiency in Adobe CC Illustrator and InDesign.

Excellent digital asset management and organizational skills.

Collaborate with the Creative Director to ensure brand identity coherence.

Coordinate monthly e-commerce and bi-annual campaign photo shoots.

Demonstrate a keen attention to detail and pride in work.

Proactively seek opportunities to improve workflow, processes, and output quality.

Ability to work independently while also being a team player.

Strong organizational skills to manage project workload effectively and maintain digital assets related to web production.

Proficiency in photography and lighting techniques.

Ability to work with photographers to achieve desired visual outcomes.

Additional Skills:

Experience with online marketing, including graphic web content, email blasts, and online advertising.

Familiarity with direct mail practices (catalogs, look books, postcards, brochures, invitations, mailers) is advantageous.

Knowledge of Social Media strategies is a plus.
