As a Senior Designer, you'll be working closely with our Creative Director (or their designate), and expected to bring creative ideas to life across various creative disciplines including web design, product interface design, social artwork, and animation. We're looking for someone who's not only exceptionally creative but also possesses a strategic mindset.

Overall Role & Responsibilities

Review, produce, and deliver creative assets ensuring accuracy, attention to detail

Present concept work in creative review or client meetings (when applicable)

Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task between projects to deliver against tight deadlines

Works closely with other team members on functionality and web templates to deliver best in class web design

Ensures AODA compliance on all documents and within all web application designs

Other design projects as required – print design, video editing, iconography, etc

Conduct ongoing market and user research

Expertise & Skills:

Minimum of 5-8 years of professional-level experience

Recommend a minimum 3 years of agency experience

4+ years of experience in web design with a strong knowledge and ability in design and web software, including hand coding HTML/CSS

Expert working knowledge in Adobe Creative Cloud and Figma

Strong conceptual and articulate presentation skills

Basic animation skills using After Effects

Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and can clearly articulate your design decisions

Detail oriented, resourceful, creative, and strong logical and analytical skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously

Passionate about quality, technology, and excellence with a desire to continually improve your skill set

Excellent organizational skills and ability to coordinate efforts and output according to project specifications

Collaborate with internal stakeholders and teams to establish a vision for design

Ability to communicate with engineers about implementation details

Coach more junior designers on the team to help level up their skills

Bonus Skills:

Knowledge of AI systems is considered an asset

University or College Degree in Media and Design

Experience in both UX/UI is viewed a valuable resource
