Position : Azure – L3 – Network/Security
Working Location: Mississauga, Ontario
Responsibilities
Azure Foundation Build and Administration
Perform L3 tasks related to Azure infrastructure i.e., NSG/ASG, Azure LB, Compute Right Sizing, Azure networking, Azure Site Recovery
Acts as a technical SME for serious incidents and complex issues related to Azure.
Perform L3 tasks related to Azure infrastructure i.e., NSG/ASG, Azure LB, Azure networking, Azure Site Recovery
Troubleshooting the Azure Networking/Security/Storage/VM issues
ExpressRoute Configuration & Management
Able to enable end to end communication from DC to Azure, Internet to Azure and vice versa through Azure External app gateways, Internal app gateways, Palo alto Firewall, UDRs, NSGs etc.
Enable Routing and Vnet peering for the communications as per standards and guidelines
Assist on Azure ExpressRoute Configuration & Management
Manage Azure Application Gateways, Traffic managers, Front Doors and all key networking/security services
Handle vulnerabilities in Azure environment and prevent them with Azure policies
Develop and maintain Azure cloud environment with an emphasis on best practices in Cloud security
Ability to deal with people working in remote locations and different time zones
Key Skills required
Strong experience in below:
Excellent understanding of Cloud IaaS/PAAS in Azure
Excellent skill in Azure Load Balancer, Application Gateway, Azure Front Door, Traffic manager, NSG/ASG, Security Center, Routing tables, virtual network gateways
Azure Sentinel, Defender
Good understanding of High Availability and Disaster Recovery concepts using ASR
Good Experience in Automation (either of)
Arm Templates
Ansible
Terraform
Additional Skills and Experience will be an added advantage
Windows or Linux OS
Can drive innovation and automation
Good understanding of Palo Alto firewall
Exposure to Palo Alto Panorama management
Expertise in preparing Operational and Architectural manual.
