The HVAC Mechanic is responsible for performing preventative maintenance, repairs and rebuilds on all mechanical equipment. This position requires a vast knowledge of ERU’s, heat pump systems, electrical, plumbing, pumps, VFD’s and the ability to troubleshoot all systems.Qualifications

Education & Experience:

At least 5 years of progressive experience in a hotel or a related building environment

10 plus years of HVAC experience in a large building

Ability to access high areas using a ladder

Vocational/technical training or apprenticeship

High school diploma.

Trade school for HVAC

Physical requirements:

Extended periods of standing, walking, climbing stairs, crouching/kneeling, bending and twisting

Carrying/lifting up to 100lbs

Repetitive motion

Talking/communicating/listening
