You will need good time management skills

Here's what you'll be doing:

Conduct thorough site surveys to assess roof condition, size, and complexity

Review blueprints, specifications, and other project documents

Prepare detailed takeoffs to identify material and labor requirements

Utilize industry software to calculate accurate material and labor costs

Utilize industry software to prepare inspection reports and proposals.

Generate comprehensive cost estimates that are competitive and within client budgets

Communicate effectively with clients to explain estimates and answer questions

Stay up-to-date on current roofing materials, technologies, and industry trends

Maintain a professional relationship with vendors and suppliers to secure competitive pricing

May assist with preparing bid packages and proposals

Communicate and coordinate with the other divisions within the team.

Here's the skinny on the pay and benefits.

Pay is a combination of base pay and year-end bonuses. Salary range is between $65,000-$85,000 depending on knowledge and experience.

After short waiting periods - you will become eligible for the following benefits. Waiting periods will be determined by the date of hire and employment regulations, many start at 90 days.
