TITLE: Controls Service Manager REPORTS TO: Controls Director JOB DUTIES / GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: The Controls Service Manager is responsible for leading and managing a team of Controls Service technicians and Engineers to deliver exceptional quality and customer service to our clients.

The Controls Service Manager will work closely with Pueblo leadership to understand the goals and direction of Pueblo Mechanical and lead the team to achieve the desired goals.

* Work in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation, and excellence.

* Provide hands-on leadership to the team by building and motivating team members to meet team and company goals.

* Coach, mentor, motivate, and supervise the team.

* Develop and manage all aspects of the team from planning, external vendor relationships, communications, fleet, resources, budget, change, risks, and issues.

* Always maintain strict adherence to safety standards.

* Ensure that Service projects run according to scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards.

* Provide Management with monthly performance results against plan.

* Work with sales and estimating to help develop proposals.

* Provide status reporting regarding project milestones, risks, and issues, communicating across all levels of leadership as needed.

* Participate in establishing practices, templates, policies, tools, and partnerships to expand and mature these capabilities for the organization.

* Manage, develop, and lead service staff by recruiting, interviewing, hiring, training, and reviewing the performance of all staff employees.

* Assist the Sales Department with job walks and estimating on an as-needed basis to help ensure the jobs are meeting the customer needs.

* Coordinate, and review as necessary, estimations for parts and labor; effectively estimate project hours for specific services and coordinate with team to shorten downtime.

* Work with customers and team to provide technical support, resolve issues, and provide BMS and Automation Controls product maintenance.

* Visit with high-profile customers on a consistent basis to ensure customer expectations are being met.

* Perform all other duties the job may require but are not specifically listed above.

* This is a safety-sensitive position.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS: * Minimum of 5 years direct supervisory experience in the HVAC industry.•Strong HVAC Controls experience a plus.•Strong leadership and abilities.•Excellent verbal and written communication skills.•Good time management skills.•Valid driver's license.•Ability to travel to customer locations in AZ with very short notice.•This position requires 10% travel.
