Overview: Spay Today, a leading High-Quality High-Volume Spay/Neuter (HQHVSN) clinic, is urgently seeking a compassionate and skilled Veterinarian to join our team.

Without your expertise, our clinic faces closure by the end of May, jeopardizing vital spay/neuter services for thousands of animals in Eastern North Carolina.

Position Possibilities: 1.

Possible ownership if interested in your own practice.

Two part-time surgeons dividing the four-day workweek.

One full-time spay/neuter surgical position working four days per week in our single vet practice and providing medical care at the county animal shelter.

Details: At Spay Today, we are dedicated to reducing the number of homeless animals in our community.

Since 2006, we have sterilized over 75,000 animals, significantly impacting shelter intake and euthanasia rates.

Our clinic is strategically located near the Pitt County Animal Shelter, allowing us to provide essential services to pets in need.

We offer low-cost, high-quality care and boast a dedicated and enthusiastic team.

Responsibilities: - Perform 22-27 spay and neuter surgeries per day, including pediatrics - Conduct pre and post-operative examinations on all patients - Administer vaccinations and provide limited medical care as necessary - Supervise and train veterinary surgical assistants - Provide compassionate leadership and oversee medical protocols - Ensure compliance with controlled substance regulations - Offer basic veterinary services to animal shelters Requirements: - Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree - North Carolina Veterinary License or license eligibility - DEA license or license eligibility - Interest and skills in spay/neuter surgery - Strong leadership abilities and teamwork skills - Mission-oriented with a strong work ethic Benefits: - Competitive salary range with sign-on bonus and relocation stipend - Paid time off and holidays - Health insurance stipend and retirement benefits - Continuing education opportunities - Malpractice insurance and licensing fees covered Join Us in Making a Difference!
