Warehouse Package Handler Lead

OnTrac is hiring a Warehouse Package Handler Lead !

Location: 1260 London Groveport Rd., Lockbourne, OH 43137

Pay Target: $19.27 per hour

Shift: Wednesday - Saturday from 1:00 PM to 12:00 AM or End of Sort. Schedule may change based on business needs.

Employment Logistics:

The Package Handler II plays a crucial role in overseeing the offloading, loading, and sorting of packages for distribution in our warehouse. Our Package Handlers II's are the ultimate team players. They work closely with Sort and Operations Managers to train new hires, support business metrics, and uphold company values.

The Must-Haves:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred

1 - 2 years of related warehouse experience and/or training or equivalent combination of both

Ability to regularly lift, push, pull and/or move items averaging 50lbs and occasionally up to 75lbs.

Leadership experience, preferred

Must be at least 18 years of age

Your Mission in Motion :

Supervise offloading and sorting incoming packages for distribution and/or prepare outgoing freight for delivery.

Train sorters to perform assigned tasks safely and accurately.

Provide continual feedback to sorters, both positive and negative.

Inspect packages to make sure they are safe for truck transportation.
