POSITION OVERVIEW
Purpose: Responsible for business development and sales in the domestic market so as to achieve the growth targets.
Key Responsibilities:
· Prepare sales plan and strategy in consultation with the MD as per the overall business growth plans.
· Implement plans for acquisition of new clients and retention of existing clients for the domestic market.
· Analyze new business opportunities, gather market and customer information and provide suggestions on future sales trends for the domestic market.
· Service the clients in domestic market so as to increase sales.
· Establish and maintain relationship with the clients to generate continued business.
· Develop and maintain sales tracking report to keep track of leads and sales status.
· Negotiate terms and prices, follow up on payments for the clients in domestic market.
· Interface with other departments to resolve issues related to supplies, reconciliation, etc.

PERSON OVERVIEW
Qualifications: B. Sc. (with chemistry)/ B. Tech. (Chemical)/ B. Pharm.
Experience: 5+ years of experience in sales of bulk drugs, API to pharmaceutical companies.
Essential Attributes (Experience/ exposure characteristics):
• Knowledge of bulk drugs/ API in the domestic market
• Understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing in Indian market especially around pharma industry hubs
• Understanding of import/ sales and supply chain regulations in the pharmaceutical industry
