Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a Commis Chef located in North Goa. As a Commis Chef at Lar Amorosa Jungle Cafe, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and cooking of various dishes under the guidance of the Head Chef. Your day-to-day tasks will include organizing ingredients, preparing mise en place, handling cooking equipment, ensuring food safety and hygiene standards, and collaborating with the kitchen team to deliver high-quality meals to our customers.

Qualifications

Prior experience in a similar role as a Commis Chef or in a culinary position

Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary terminology

Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately

Experience in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment

Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment

Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

Certification from a culinary school or relevant training is a plus
