The Treasury Project Manager will lead and oversee treasury-related projects to enhance the efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance of treasury operations. This individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project initiatives, streamline processes, and implement best practices in treasury management. The Treasury Project Manager will play a key role in optimizing cash management, banking operations, and financial risk management strategies.

Primary Responsibilities:

Lead treasury-related projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and timelines.

Oversee the implementation of treasury management systems and tools to automate cash management functions, improve efficiency, and enhance reporting capabilities.

Develop and implement treasury policies, procedures, and controls to enhance operational efficiency and mitigate financial risks.

Coordinate project activities, including resource allocation, task assignment, and progress tracking, to ensure timely and successful project execution.

Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, and develop project plans and timelines.

Prepare regular cash flow reports, variance analyses, and financial projections for senior management, providing insights into cash management performance and opportunities for improvement.

Conduct research, analysis, and benchmarking to identify opportunities for process improvement and automation in treasury operations.

Provide leadership and guidance to project team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Monitor project performance and outcomes, identify lessons learned, and recommend enhancements for future projects.

Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory requirements, and emerging technologies in treasury management, and incorporate best practices into project initiatives.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.

5+ years of experience in treasury management, financial project management, or related roles.

Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex projects on time and within budget.

Strong understanding of treasury operations, cash management principles, banking practices, and financial risk management.

Excellent project management skills, including project planning, resource management, risk assessment, and stakeholder communication.

Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations.

Proficiency in project management tools, Microsoft Office suite, and treasury management systems.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across departments and levels of the organization.
