Consultant General Ophthalmologist

Minimum Requirements

Candidates must have current medical license to practice.

Graduate of Medical School, recognised by the Medical Council of the country of origin.

Must have one or more of the following:

American Board – Minimum 3 years*

Canadian Board – Minimum 3 years*

UK CCT - Minimum 3 years*

CESR - Minimum 5 years*

Australia or NZ Royal College Fellowship - Minimum 3 years*

Western European Specialisation Board (i.e., Fachartz) - Minimum 5 years*

Bilingual (English and Arabic) is an advantage.

(*Experience: 3 to 5 years' post board or specialisation certification experience depending on country of origin to qualify for Consultant with the Saudi Council.)
