Job description:
Sourcing and development of parts of the cockpit – Instrument cluster, Infotainment, switch panels and control modules.
Components handled: Instrument cluster, Audio, Panel switches, Wiring Harness
Experience: 03 to 8 Years
Job Responsibility:
RFQ, Quote synthesis, Cost estimation, Supplier evaluation, PPAP, PO, Price negotiation, RM & Forex indexing and price amendments
Product cost estimation, ED&D effort estimation Testing, Validation and J&F estimation
Supplier evaluation, selection, component development and supply chain management Benchmarking and technology trend assessment
Implement engineering changes including delivery and commercial settlements
Build database on the spend including mapping of major cost & performance drivers, Annual price reductions, VAVE idea generation and implementation CFT participation with engineering & Manufacturing
Build a resilient supply chain with detailed mapping of tier3/4 suppliers and de-risking & Localization of PCBA’s, Facia, switches, Bezels etc.
