JD – Assistant Manager- KAM (Retail)
Responsibilities:-
Business Development:-
Maintain a pipeline of target MT accounts
Make pitches to new accounts - calls, meetings, visits
On board new accounts - Agreement, TOT, Assortment, NIF, First Order, Asset & VM, Launch plans
Relationship building with retailers at buyer, store and DC levels as required
Conduct data analysis of each account, prepare reviews, and identify opportunities to drive business
Assist in preparing material for Key Accounts meetings and JBPs
Create internal deck for presenting new account information and proposal for review and approval
Sales:-
Monthly sales plan by account at Tertiary, Secondary, Primary levels and by Com, SKU
Promotion and incentives planning by account
Coordinate with retailer to get scan and SOH data for Inv and PO
Collaborate with Field Manager to ensure BA and Merch productivity
Market visits to track execution, competition deals, gather intelligence from field, guide merchandizers and BA
Arrange in-store execution elements working with VM and POS
SCM:-
Plan first order of new accounts based on allocations and distribution points
With retailer scan and SOH data, create POs and STOs for category managers - go VMI
Work with D&K DC and Retailer DC / CM as required to ensure availability in stores
Maintain healthy inventory levels in all the buckets - saleable, excess, CTE, expiry, damaged at Retailer and suggest corrective actions to CM to balance out
Process:-
Plan AOP in details by Account and review monthly results and variance
Sales Reviews with all stakeholders - internal team, retailer, distributor, Field Manager
Create tools, templates, process documents, collaterals, pitch material etc to manage MT business
Understand and follow retailers’ processes related to MDM, Listing, Ordering, Invoicing and Accounting for smooth operations
Qualifications:-
MBA preferable
2~6 years of KAM or KAM support experience with major FMCG brand
Experience with Physical Retail, not E-Comm platforms
Data analytical skills
Attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal skills
Collaboration and team skills
