Job Summary:

VinFast, a leading Vietnamese electric vehicle manufacturer, seeks a passionate IT Manager to lead our Security, Infrastructure, and Helpdesk operations at our new India plant. You will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our IT infrastructure, safeguarding our data, and providing exceptional support to our employees.

Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage the entire IT infrastructure, including network, servers, storage, and telecommunications systems.

Implement and maintain robust security measures to protect VinFast's data and IT systems from cyber threats.

Manage and lead the Helpdesk team, ensuring timely and effective resolution of user issues and inquiries.

Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure efficient and secure IT operations.

Stay up-to-date on the latest security threats and vulnerabilities and implement proactive measures to mitigate risks.

Work closely with other IT departments and business units to understand their needs and provide appropriate IT solutions.

Manage and prioritize IT projects effectively, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.

Lead and motivate a team of IT professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

Provide regular reports on IT performance and security posture to senior management.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Minimum 5 years of experience in an IT infrastructure and security management role.

Proven experience in managing and securing IT infrastructure for a large organization.

In-depth knowledge of security principles and best practices (firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention, data encryption).

Strong understanding of network and server administration.

Experience with IT service management frameworks (ITIL preferred).

Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.

Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Experience in the automotive industry is a plus.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
