Focus Edumatics is seeking candidates with strong experience in data analytics, business intelligence and storyboarding skills for this role, reporting to the Head of Customer Insights and Analytics. This is an exciting opportunity to create student impact in the US K-12 education space. This individual should be excellent at solving complex data problems

and deriving at strategic insights, enabling leadership and clients in decision-making.

As the [role] on the Customer Insights and Analytics team, you will play a critical role in shaping our strategy and driving data-driven decision-making in increasing revenue and net customer retention. You will be responsible for leading high-impact projects, leveraging data and analytics to gain deep insights into our operations, students, and customer base and providing recommendations while streamlining data processes and establishing a future data roadmap. Your work will directly impact our C-suite leadership and key customer decision-makers to become raving fans of FEV Tutor.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

● Collaborate closely with multiple stakeholders, providing data-driven insights and recommendations. Work towards streamlining existing data flows and processes, while charting the future data roadmap for the organization.

● Apply strong experience across all data stages, including Data Exploration, Analysis, Synthesis, and Presentation. Identify trends and patterns in the data, translating them into compelling narratives and recommendations for leadership and clients to facilitate better decision-making.

● Drive data transformation projects to automate all reports and dashboards, ensuring quality and accuracy of data.

● Leverage your experience in connecting with diverse data sources, including SQL Server, Oracle data warehouses, and Excel files, to build complex datasets. Create automated real-time dashboards using analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC).

● Demonstrate strong experience and knowledge of Power BI visualization tools and a willingness to master other BI tools as needed based on business requirements.

● Build relationships between various datasets and harness DAX queries and functions effectively.

● Utilize your expertise in On-Premise Data Gateways to schedule automated data refreshes. Implement and manage Power BI application security layer models.

● Demonstrate leadership skills by leading, mentoring & and motivating a team of junior resources.

● Participate in cross-functional special projects.

● Play a role in the end-to-end project lifecycle: Gather stakeholder requirements, create a project plan, work on

the actual data analysis and build reports and dashboards, presenting the insights back to stakeholders.

● Good experience in statistical tools like R/Python/SQL and techniques like Classification and regression for descriptive, prescriptive, and predictive analytics.

● Showcase strong storyboarding and presentation (PPT) skills to communicate insights and recommendations clearly to diverse stakeholders.

SUCCESS PROFILE

Who you are:

● Hold a bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics), with a master's degree considered a strong asset.

● Demonstrated expertise (6-15 years) in data analytics, business intelligence, or similar roles, with proficiency in visualization tools in Power BI

● Strong project management skills. Demonstrated the ability to drive projects independently and also through team members.

● Strong analytics and problem-solving acumen and acute attention to detail with a keen ability to transform complex data into actionable insights.

● Good to have proficiency in data analysis tools like Python, R, SQL, or equivalent and advanced-level-computations on datasets.

● Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effectively conveying complex data-driven insights. Ability to articulate insights in an effective manner to leadership and clients
