Overview:
HORUS Technology Solutions is looking for a Senior Technical/Content Writer to join our Grants Peer Review project team.
A top candidate would be very client focused. To be a strong team player you must be proactive in identifying issues and risks, and work with the client and the team to be a trusted advisor.
Responsibilities:
Create, write, format, and edit summary statement documents (in Microsoft Word format) from the committee review notes spreadsheet.
Asist in the setup of the summary statement document
Review and analyze comments provided for the discretionary grant application in the committee review notes spreadsheet and produce a summary statement document draft
Collaborate with the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) and Alternate Contracting Officer Representative (ACOR) to ensure an accurate, relevant, and well-organized summary statement document draft
Has experience determining and notifying management if conflict of interest exists with respect to any peer reviewer and/or grant application information assigned
Participate in trainings provided by the Division of Grant Review staff
Maintain confidentiality of all peer reviewer information and grant application information in accordance with current and pertinent Federal regulations, policies, and guidelines.
Support likely to be provided remotely.
Qualifications:
At least two years of analytical, writing, formatting, copy-editing experience required, as well as experience with Microsoft Office.
Grant-writing subject matter content experience preferred.
Journalism (or similar) preferred but may be substituted by four years of experience
