Overview:

HORUS Technology Solutions is looking for an Honorarium Clerk to join our Grants Peer Review project team.

A top candidate would be very client focused. To be a strong team player you must be proactive in identifying issues and risks, and work with the client and the team to be a trusted advisor.

Responsibilities:

Provide secure transmission and storage of any peer reviewer financial, biographical and/or personal identifiable information

Validate, through the COR or the ACOR, a list of all peer reviewers who have successfully completed the peer review process before issuing payment

Provide 1099-MISC information forms to peer reviewers, per the Internal Revenue Services (IRS) regulations, policies, and guidelines

Ensure the Agency meets all extramural honorarium payment requirements in a timely manner

Track and monitor honorarium payments to ensure payment is made to the reviewer and to eliminate the duplication of payments

Maintain confidentiality of all peer reviewer information and grant application information in accordance with current and pertinent Federal regulations, policies, and guidelines.

Support likely to be provided remotely.

Qualifications:

At least two years of administrative and financial payment support experience required, as well as experience with Microsoft Office

No grants-related experience required.
