SUMMARY
The Building Maintenance Technician is responsible for operating the facility including, but not limited to mechanical other supporting systems; performing structured inspections, preventative and corrective maintenance, routine and on-demand services on facility mechanical equipment and other systems.
EDUCATION, JOB-RELATED YEARS OF EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma plus trades training or experience
Experience providing preventive and corrective maintenance on building equipment
Demonstrated ability to maintain, troubleshoot and repair mechanical and other building systems and equipment
Knowledge and understanding of Building Automation Systems (BAS) and HVAC Systems
Strong client-service orientation
Effective communication skills
Licenses and/or Professional Accreditation:
Power Engineer Certification or be willing to obtain
Building Operator Certification or equivalent through an accredited institution
