Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Childrens Hospital seeks a Pediatric Hematology Oncology BE/BC physician to join our expanding team as Chief of the Division. Pediatric Hematology/Oncology at OH-APH provides family-centered, comprehensive care for infants, children and adolescents with all types of cancer and blood disorders. We currently have 8 clinical faculty physicians. Patient care is also provided by 6 advanced practice providers, 14 clinic nurse coordinators, fully staffed infusion center, 4 clinical research coordinators, 2 regulatory coordinators and 2 data managers who are part of the infrastructure for Phase I-III clinical trials. We have a radiation oncology facility with proton therapy on campus and is fully integrated with our pediatric oncology program. The division is fully committed to the advancement of pediatric hematology/oncology with a thriving clinical research enterprise and early development of basic science-translational lab program. Incoming physician will provide inpatient and outpatient management of pediatric and adolescent patients with hematologic and oncologic diseases. A focused interest in leukemia/lymphoma preferred. Opportunity for academic appointment at University of Central Florida. We have an active pediatric residency program so there is close interaction with medical students and residents.

Requirements include MD or DO degree, board eligibility/certification by the American Board of Pediatrics with fellowship training in Pediatric Hematology Oncology, leadership experience (preferred) and the ability to obtain an active medical license in the state of Florida.

The clinical programs see approximately 150 new oncology patients and over 7,800 hematology visits annually and just recently performed our first 3 stem cell transplants this year.
