The Role

Si Senorita is looking to hire an ambitious, motivated, and driven Chef who is able to oversee the day-to-day functions of the restaurant.You must be able to work in a team, have excellent communication skills, have the ability to accept criticism, and work well under pressure and time constraints. The workday will involve preparing dishes, delegating tasks, placing food orders and monitoring food stock, as well as creating new combinations to further improve our menu.

Duties

Coordinate and plan menus with Chefs and other kitchen staff.

Oversee, coordinate, and organise special functions and large bookings.

Planning the purchase and pricing of goods in accordance with budget.

Keeping records of stock levels and financial transactions for the restaurant.

Ensuing dining, restaurant and kitchen spaces adhere to health regulations and are clean, functional and of suitable appearance.

Communicating with customers to receive feedback about their dining experience an improve customer experience.

Promote the restaurant brand in the local community through word-of-mouth and café events.

Take reservations, greet guests, and assist in taking orders.

Qualifications and requirements

AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma (ANZSCO Skill Level 2);

Have at least 3 years of experience as a chef;

Australian citizens or permanent residents;

Have experience planning menus and new dishes;

Have experience making food and non-food orders and stocking the kitchen;

Have experience training other team members;

Have experience in upholding the proper health and safety requirements in the kitchen;

Have experience in studying the current situation in the industry to ensure the business is working in accordance with the demands of the market;

Salary: $70,000 - $75,000 per
