POSITION # 233163 NATIONAL OCCUPATION CODE 64409 POSITION TYPE PERMANENT, FULL-TIME Waapihk Research, a consulting firm based in Winnipeg, is on the lookout for a Client Relationship Coordinator to join their team in either Winnipeg or Montreal. Reporting to the Principal, this role focuses on engaging with potential clients nationwide. As a Client Relationship Coordinator, you'll be tasked with identifying new opportunities and fostering connections with organizations that could benefit from Waapihk's unique services. This role is all about teamwork and independence. We need someone who's motivated, can manage their time effectively, and thrives in a collaborative setting. RESPONSIBILITIES

Get familiar with the range of services Waapihk Research provides.

Understand the diverse contexts in which our clients operate.

Scout for potential client organizations and partnerships across Canada.

Help kickstart conversations between clients and the Principal.

Collaborate with the Research Team to refine our offerings.

Assist in spotting and nurturing long-term business prospects.

Keep our CRM pipeline updated and organized. EDUCATION

A bachelor's degree in epidemiology, statistics, biostatistics, health and research methodology, or a related field is required. Equivalent experience demonstrating a grasp of basic statistics will also be considered. EXPERIENCE

First-hand experience living in Indigenous communities or direct work with Canadian Indigenous populations.

Familiarity with Indigenous self-governance, data governance, and health transformation reform.

Previous involvement with Indigenous and northern communities on various matters.

Some background in business-to-business account development or management.

Experience in a fast-paced customer service role.

Handling sensitive material with confidentiality and professionalism.

Proficient with MS Office and open to learning qualitative data software.

Bonus if you can communicate in an Indigenous language.
