Senior Accountant

POSITION TITLE: Senior Accountant

LOCATION: Mission Valley, CA (Hybrid - In-office Mondays and Wednesdays)

COMPENSATION: $85-100k

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Senior Accountant position will be responsible for assisting the Accounting Manager with the weekly and monthly close process. The Senior Accountant will be expected to consistently and regularly exercise discretion and independent judgment in carrying out the duties of this role. An ideal Senior Accountant will have a minimum of 4 years of experience working in an accounting department for a privately held company with revenues above $25MM or 2 years of experience working in public accounting for a mid-sized public accounting firm

RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPECTATIONS:

Collaborate with Accounting Manager and other team members to successfully execute various accounting tasks.

Maintain company ledgers and daily financial transactions.

Daily and month end close accounting responsibilities related to assigned legal entities.

Responsible for accounting for temporary payroll activities.

Preparing and posting journal entries.

Performing account reconciliations.

Create daily, monthly, and yearly reports.

Preparing internal reports for Management including weekly cash report.

Preparing and providing support for external Auditors.

Perform financial analysis by identifying discrepancies in ledgers and accounts, tracking them to the source and notifying them for review with Management.

Support special projects

Eastridge frequently engages in special projects that focus on existing and future operations. This position will commonly play a role in the financial aspect of such projects.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration

Minimum of 4 years of experience working in an accounting department for a privately held company with revenues above $25MM or 2 years of experience working in public accounting for a mid-sized public accounting firm

It would be great if you had these:

Experience with Workday FDM

Foreign Exchange (FX) Experience

Audit Experience - Experience interacting with Auditors

Experience with Payroll and commissions

Staffing & Recruiting Industry Experience
