Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Batching Plant Inspector to oversee the quality, safety, and efficiency of concrete batching operations in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with quality standards and industry regulations while identifying and resolving operational issues in real-time. You will collaborate closely with production teams and management to uphold high standards of quality assurance and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor the batching process to ensure compliance with quality standards, project specifications, and industry regulations.

Conduct regular inspections of batching plants, checking for equipment functionality, material integrity, and process consistency.

Oversee the sampling and testing of materials used in batching operations, ensuring adherence to quality benchmarks.

Document inspection findings and generate reports for management review, recommending corrective actions where necessary.

Verify that all batching activities adhere to safety, environmental, and quality control standards.

Identify operational issues during inspections and work with plant personnel to resolve them promptly.

Assist in the training of plant staff on quality control measures, safety protocols, and operational standards.

Suggest process improvements to enhance plant efficiency, reduce waste, and increase safety.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Quality Control, or a related field.

At least 5 years of experience in concrete batching or quality control, ideally within the construction industry.

ACI (American Concrete Institute) Certification or similar qualification is preferred.

Strong understanding of batching plant operations, equipment, and material testing.

Familiarity with ISO quality standards and industry regulations.

Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve quality issues.

Effective communication with management, production teams, and external stakeholders.

Ability to handle multiple inspections, reports, and compliance checks efficiently.

Keen eye for spotting inconsistencies in material quality and operational processes.
