Main Purpose of Job
Drive overall branch efficiency with focus on the execution of all customer requirements.
Responsibilities:
Allocate appropriate cranes and crews for the relevant jobs, including inter-branch assignments
Ensure the delivery of a positive Customer Experience in the provisioning of services
Support Sales Representatives in conducting site surveys
Schedule the transportation of staff, counterweights, outrigger pads, rigging gear, site offices etc.
Ensure all applicable road permits are obtained before the job commences
Ensure good housekeeping in the office and yard areas
Conduct site visits and report on all defects, non-conformance or any other problems that occur on site
Assess staff training requirements and ensure ongoing training
Attend and coordinate after-hour requirements from clients and operators
Assist with keeping relevant certification files up to date
In conjunction with the SHEQ Officer, ensure that branch implemented SHE protocols are adhered to
Ensure that company vehicles, including plant & equipment, are maintained in good condition & running order
Approval of Service Providers as required
Manage timekeeping records weekly and living out allowance claims as required
Daily cranes Masterdata management
Required Qualifications/Experience
Matric or equivalent
Valid driver’s license
First Line Management/Supervisory qualification essential.
Computer literate, with intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Excel
Working knowledge of administration and related processes
Tertiary qualification in Operations or Business Management advantageous
3-5 years’ experience in the same or similar industry managing a team
