Overview:

Imperial Dade, a leading North American distributor, has a Director of Food Safety & Protection position available in any of our major US locations. In this critical role, you'll be the architect of our food safety program, ensuring the quality and safety of the food we all depend on. You'll also be a trusted advisor to our clients, helping them navigate complex regulations and achieve their food safety goals.

Responsibilities:

You will:

Manage all aspects of our Food Safety program.

Conduct audits and identify areas for improvement in client facilities.

Develop and deliver training programs for both internal and external audiences.

Collaborate with clients to ensure they meet regulatory requirements.

Analyze data and identify trends to continuously improve our food safety performance.

Assist the VP of EHS in identifying areas for service improvement.

Qualifications:

You have:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline (e.g., chemistry, biology, pharmacy) or equivalent experience.

5+ years of food safety industry experience.

3+ years of experience auditing against GFSI standards preferred.

PCQI, cGMP, HACCP, and SQF Practitioner certifications.

Excellent communication, training, and leadership skills.

Ability to travel.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
