Responsibilities:

BASIC PURPOSE

The Lead of Support Services is responsible for assisting the Warehouse Supervisor in the management of all department operations of their assigned shift. The Lead must possess organizational, communication and interpersonal skills to ensure all Warehouse and Vault personnel are properly trained and cross-trained in all essential job functions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND REPSONSIBILITIES

75% Lead and provide support

Assist in planning, prioritizing, and managing daily department operations.

Responsible for maintaining the shift productivity rating according to current department objectives.

Responsible for training of department team members in all job functions.

Monitor team members daily productivity and efficiency way.

Work with client experiences and production to assure customers need are met or exceeded.

Responsible for the communication between the department management and team members.

Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures and communicate failures to the management team.

Ensure your team complete the daily and monthly audits complete on time and maintain high level of inventory accuracy.

Ensure team member’s operator the warehouse and vault equipment in safe manner.

Understand and follow all Visa/MasterCard requirements when handling secure shipments.

Make internal deliveries of mail and incoming materials as required.

Ensure team members operate the warehouse and vault equipment in safe manner.

15% Support the implementation of best practice tools and techniques such as Management Inventory Tools, Kaizen, ISO 9001, 5S, department policies, specifications, and requirements.

5% Provide reports on weekly, monthly, and annual performance as required.

5% Complete other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISION EXERCISED

Direct supervision of assigned employees with the support of the supervisor.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED

Report to the department supervisor.

Qualifications:

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Strong communication skills, including verbal and written communication in English.

Must have strong organizational skills.

Must possess good interpersonal skills.

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and work well under pressure in order to make sound business decisions in a high-paced environment.

Requires problem solving and listening skills.

Must possess the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

Mechanical aptitude sufficient to operate machinery essential to the department.

Proven proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Physical work, exerting up to 50 lbs of force occasionally or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.

ENTRY LEVEL QUALIFICATIONS

High School graduate or equivalent GED. Strongly prefer 5+ years Inventory Control experience. Forklift certification is required.
