Concessions Barback Part time Charles Schwab Challenge (Colonial)

Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our team as a Concessions Barback. In this role, you will provide essential support to our concessions bar by assisting with stocking, cleaning, and ensuring smooth operations during events. Your attention to detail and proactive attitude will contribute to delivering excellent service to our patrons.

This role will pay an hourly wage of $16.

Responsibilities:

Assist bartenders with stocking and replenishing inventory, including beverages, garnishes, and supplies.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the concessions bar area, including wiping down surfaces, disposing of trash, and cleaning glassware.

Prepare and set up for service before events, including arranging condiments, napkins, and other necessary items.

Retrieve and transport kegs, cases, and other supplies to and from storage areas.

Monitor inventory levels and alert management when supplies need to be replenished.

Assist with handling cash transactions and processing payments when needed.

Provide friendly and efficient service to patrons, addressing their needs and inquiries.

Adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a clean and safe environment for staff and guests.

Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service during events.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a similar role or hospitality environment preferred.

Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, such as kegs and cases of beverages.

Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with colleagues and customers.

Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.

Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and reconciling inventory.

Must be at least 18 years of age and able to obtain any required alcohol service certifications in your jurisdiction.
