Lead IT System Engineer

About the Job

As a Lead IT System Engineer in the Operations team you will have prior experience with DHCP, DNS, Active Directory, and AD Group Policy and experience with one or more programming languages relevant to scripting, automation, and interacting with APIs.

About You

As a Lead Information Systems Engineer, you'll provide superior tech support to the company in a complex environment while collaborating heavily with our external service providers. You‘ll work independently, anticipating and responding to the needs of the internal systems. Your tech-savvy skills will enable you to profile, build, procure, and install approved SW/HW, diagnose any emergent hardware and software ailments, and maintain all IT infrastructure and systems.

Minimum Qualifications

10+ years of IT system experience with a wide range of IT systems across MacOS, Windows, Linux, and on-prem & SaaS system application management including but not limited to GSuite, OKTA or Azure AD, Jira/Confluence, Slack, Confluence, JAMF/Kandji

Strong experience with DHCP, DNS, Active Directory, and AD Group Policy

Experience with one or more programming languages relevant to scripting, automation, and interacting with APIs (Python, Bash, PowerShell, Perl, PHP, Ruby)

Experience with managing VPN, telecommunications, VoIP, and video conferencing

Strong time management and organization skills; able to prioritize multiple requests effectively and autonomously

Displays a passion for improving systems, process-building, and documentation

Comfort working in a high-growth, constantly changing environment

Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to collaborate and work with others

Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with EDR software (endpoint defense and response - Antivirus, Antimalware)

Experience with email security

Compensation

The specific compensation package for each role depends on factors including experience, qualifications and level. We anticipate the range for this role to be $146,615 to $180,039 per year.
