Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner

Our client is currently seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to assist with patient care. This includes diagnosing patients, providing treatments, and conducting consultations to evaluate patient needs. It also includes ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests to develop and prescribe treatment plans.

Details of the position are as follows:

Schedule: One day per week (Wednesdays)

Working hours: 7:30 am to 5:00 pm, with a one-hour lunch break (hours may vary)

Compensation: $500 to $700 per day, depending on experience (BOE)

Attendance at a 2-day training class is required

Qualifications required for this position include:

Knowledge and experience in sports medicine or orthopedics

Ability to administer joint injections in an outpatient setting

Ability to read and interpret X-rays and MRIs

Ability to manage patient flow during clinic hours

Excellent bedside manner

Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

Must be a licensed practitioner with at least one year of clinical experience in Virginia
