What are we looking for:

Danessa Myricks Beauty is hiring full-time e-commerce Manager to lead DanessaMyricksBeauty.com.

The Ecommerce Manager will support all online business initiatives and strategies with a focus on maximizing sales and conversion.

This person will be responsible for managing website related projects, existing systems, promotions, site testing, and site content.

This role will work closely with multiple internal departments, including CRM, Creative, and Digital; and vendors to manage online product the day-to-day execution of site merchandising.

This role will play a key part in onsite marketing and merchandising efforts, analyzing website performance and competitive trends.

This role will also play a vital role in site inventory management, usability, site search, category refinement, and user data to ensure a seamless customer experience.

This role reports to the CMO and is located in our new Farmingdale, Long Island office full time (hybrid remote work is possible).

Responsibilities include:

Site merchandising & site upkeep/maintenance.

Execute site experience in support of the merchandise/category strategy (i.e. the 4 P’s: pricing, product, promotions, placement), including product setup, site roadmap/storytelling strategies that align with key category plans, sequencing, cross-sells, navigation & site accuracy.

Manage existing and new product listings and pages on the website.

Manage external site agencies including dev team and site experience team.

Coordinate site content updates, new product launches, sales, and promotions by partnering closely with internal teams and plan for key stakeholder involvement (CRM, Creative, Social, Paid Media, etc).

Manage all QA tasks, being responsible for the site’s overall accuracy and consistency.

Participate in brainstorms and find solutions for unconventional promotional, assortment, and merchandising asks.

Collaborate with creative and strategy team to produce web assets for homepage, ppages and other site experiences.

Find and manage solutions for an updated Rewards program, subscription program and try-on execution.

Create and review briefs and participate in creative review to approve final assets.

Use site analytics tools (GA4, Shopify) to understand performance of website and insights to optimize.

Participate in analyzing sales information and site metrics to identify opportunities to increase sales & site conversion (CRO), including: road mapping, creative shifts; digital merchandising strategies based on trend, changing navigation, and executing category offers.

Provide weekly reporting and analysis of key performance indicators.

Perform ad hoc reporting of sales and other reporting metrics for product/project launches.

Partner and communicate cross functionally with marketing brand teams, customer service, demand planning, creative, & IT to execute plans.

Partner with dev agency on optimizing and updating website tools & strategies to best reflect brand priorities.

Proactively identify operational problems, suggest solutions, and independently resolve issues.

Qualifications:

3-5 years of ecommerce experience working in a fast-moving CPG company, preferably beauty or other retail (e.g. apparel) in a similar capacity.

Passion for the beauty industry and a consumer-centric mindset.

Data-savvy with experience turning data into actional insights.

Deep understanding of the digital shopping experience on desktop and mobile.

Hands-on understanding and use of Shopify Plus and GA.

Advanced Excel/analytical skills (Pivot tables & Lookups at minimum).

Track record of leading relationships and performance success with external partners such as creative agencies, dev team, on site tools like virtual try-on and other services.

Strategic & financial capabilities; comfortable with tactical execution with data-led decisions.

Superior attention to detail, time management and follow through.

Self-starter with the ability to work well independently and in a team environment.

An understanding of content and development projects, e-Commerce UX and intuitive knowledge of how users interact and shop in a digital environment.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong project management abilities (Asana a plus).
