Administrative Assistant - Accounting Department

Job Description

We’re hiring an Administrative Assistant for our Accounting Department team. If you are looking for an opportunity where no two days are the same and are detail-oriented with a positive demeanor we would like to talk with you!

Candidate must be self-motivated, disciplined, and highly organized performing a wide variety of tasks. This position combines many processes such as; work-order processing, invoicing, accounts receivable and collections, service and support contract processing, accounts payable, spreadsheets, correspondence, etc. with extensive customer service and general office coordination.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• 3 years minimum office experience

• Support Accounting Manager and Processes

• Billing, Accounts Receivable, and Collections processing

• Accounts Payable, check processing, and reconciliation

• Purchase orders and inventory management processing

• Very lite shipping and receiving

• Service and Support contract setup and management

• Manage communication including emails and phone calls

• Adaptable and willing to learn, we want you to ask questions!

• Excellent written and interpersonal communication

• Empathetic, engaging, and strong customer service

• Ability to collaborate and work independently

• Comfortable using and learning new technology

• Creative problem solver with the ability to use sources to research

• Exceptional time management and ability to stay organized and prioritize work

• QuickBooks Pro software

• Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)

• Gmail

• ConnectWise software (not required but a huge plus!)

• Data entry (avg 50 wpm)
