Senior Network Admin

Office Status: Hybrid

Responsibilities

Manage, monitor, and maintain servers, infrastructure, backups, security, patching, applications, and connectivity for IT environments.

Troubleshoot network, server, application, and endpoint issues in both IT environments.

Monitor security dashboards, respond to security alerts, and communicate status of our security posture to supervisor.

Perform security related risk assessments of IT and OT environments and implement appropriate safeguards, including making recommendations on improving security policies and controls.

Review penetration testing reports, prepare and execute action plan to address deficiencies.

Configure networking equipment like routers, switches, and firewalls as needed.

Assist with managing the company’s Microsoft cloud environment.

Manage IT/OT convergence and integration projects.

Track assets, licenses, warranties of IT hardware and software.

Liaise with vendors, contractors, and other IT groups as needed.

Develop and document IT policies, standards, and procedures.

Create and maintain IT/OT network layout and procedural documentation.

Cross-training with department teammates.

Problems faced are difficult, often complex, and may require travel to remote business sites.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

2-year college degree required; 4-year college degree preferred.

5+ years of combined hands-on IT and security experience

Working knowledge and experience with common IT protocols, hardware, and software.

Working knowledge and experience with Microsoft 365, Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, PowerShell, VMware, SCADA/ICS systems.

Working knowledge of IT network security standards and best practices.

Project management skills.

Ability to research and resolve unfamiliar network and server related issues.
