Lead Test Engineer

Job Summary: We are looking for an energetic Lead Test Engineer to join our team.

In this role, you’ll work cross-functionally with business operations and to create and optimize workflow processes.

Responsibilities: The Enterprise Test Engineering ("ETE") family is responsible for ensuring that all applications and systems meet defined quality standards.

The Lead Test Engineer is a developer in test responsible for managing overall testing for the project including design, development and maintenance of automated test, and various software test engineering activities.

Experienced in Agile onsite/offshore work model and coordination.

Ability to handle testing activities for multiple projects and to meet project deadlines.

Proficient in testing concepts, Java and/or Selenium he/she should be able to write test scenarios, test cases and automated test that validate the application functionality.

Should possess excellent verbal, written and analytical skills, able to interact with application development teams, business analysts/SME, business users and project managers to understand requirements and communicate status.

Specific Responsibilities Manage and lead overall testing activities for the project, track process, and report status and issues.

Develop test approach and automation strategy for functional and regression testing.

Develop, maintain and execute automated test scripts using Selenium, maintaining traceability to test cases.

Debug/troubleshoot issues and propose workaround solution.

Assist other team members.

Assist in review of test cases and test automation scripts.

Works closely with application development teams to understand how changes in the software product affect maintenance of test scripts.

Aligns risk and control processes into day to day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk; escalates appropriately Qualifications: Minimum of 6 years of related experience Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience Key Skills 5-8 years of software testing experience 5 years of core java or Selenium Test NG automation experience API automation using Rest Assured Proficient in writing SQL queries Agile experience Understanding of CI/CD Understanding of test management process and SDLC/STLC System Soft Technologies is a proud equal employment opportunity employer.
