Business Operating Name: B & N PAINTING Business Address: 6665 Tyne Street, Vancouver, BC V5S 3Z9 Work Location: Various locations across Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley Job Title: Painter Helper - Construction (NOC 75110) Terms of Employment: 30-40 hours per week, full-time, Permanent Start Date: As soon as possible Wage: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour (Depending on Experience) No of Positions: 1 Job Duties: Load and unload construction materials and move materials to work areas.

Mix, pour and spread materials.

Setting up and cleaning up sites at the beginning and end of each day.

Mixing paint materials as necessary to assist lead painter.

Preparing, cleaning, and sanding the surface for painting.

Protecting the materials by applying protective coverings, such as masking tape to the objects that could be damaged or stained by work processes.

Sanding or sandblasting surfaces to remove the old paint, coating surfaces so that they better hold the paint.

Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.

Protecting furniture, floors, and other pieces of the structure that do not need paint.

Assist in patching small areas that must be corrected by sanding, applying putty, prime, paint, etc.

Report concerns their direct supervisor immediately.

SKILLS REQUIREMENTS Education: No Formal Education required.

Experience: No Experience required.

Experience working as a painter or in construction would be considered an asset.

On-the-job training will be provided.

Language: Basic English is required.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Repetitive Tasks, physically demanding requires bending, Crouching, Kneeling, handling heavy loads, requires lifting, Pulling, and carrying of equipment and other objects, Standing for long period of time, Hand-eye co-ordination.

Personal Suitability: Strong work ethics, dependable and reliable Ability to work in confined spaces, dusty work environments.

Ability to bend, crouch, stand and kneel for long extended periods.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Ability to do physical work for long shifts.

Ability to be mobile and willing to travel to various job sites.
