Responsibilities

Responsible for ensuring the spiritual, emotional, and psychosocial support is provided before, during and after the death of the patient, in collaboration with branch leadership. Assists with the grief, loss and adjustment resulting from the end of life.

Qualifications

A bachelor's degree in counseling, theology, divinity or related field is required.

Must have demonstrated experience in grief or loss counseling, including developing and conducting support programs for the bereaved.

Must have basic demonstrated technology skills, including operation of a mobile device.

Education and experience, preferred

A master’s degree in social work, divinity, or counseling is preferred.

One year experience in hospice is preferred.

Requirements

Must possess a valid state driver license

Must maintain automobile liability insurance as required by law

Must maintain dependable transportation in good working condition

Must be able to safely drive an automobile in all types of weather conditions
