Supply Chain Management Consulting, LLC is a leading consulting firm in the Aerospace & Defense industry, specializing in supply chain optimization. We are currently seeking a skilled Microwave Test Technician to join our team. As a Microwave Test Technician, you will be responsible for testing and troubleshooting RF microwave components and systems.

Responsibilities

Test and Tune operations.

Review test plans and procedures to accurately assess microwave product performance.

Perform Final Tests on sealed assemblies.

Ensuring all tests and procedures meet company and industry standards.

Writing up final test reports for presentation to customers and management.

Provide status to manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams.

Provide feedback on issues found at the test to the assembly teams.

Troubleshooting of microwave assemblies by utilizing circuit diagrams as part of circuit analysis to resolve complex electronic circuit problems.

Assist in Failure Analysis and Corrective Action and tracking to root cause.

Performs other duties as required.

Requirements

Skills:

Good troubleshooting skills with complex microwave assemblies

An understanding of test plans and operating procedures

Computer literate in Word, Excel, and Outlook

Must be attentive to details.

Strong interpersonal skills to work with team members and customers.

Good communication skills, both oral and in written form

KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:

A general understanding of RF theory, such as S-parameters, noise figure, gain, 1dB compression, harmonics, and inter-modulation distortion measurement.

Ability to measure and calculate insertion loss and VSWR of a microwave device.

Ability to use high-frequency electronic instruments, such as oscillators, audio oscillators, standing wave amplifiers, multi meters, phase-sensitive de-modulators, volt-ohm meters, logic and network analyzers, AF and RF signal generators, and wave meters.

Certification in IPC-610

3 years of experience in the assembly of electronic sub-assemblies
