Senior Project Manager, Civil PE

Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead and manage civil land development projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

Coordinate project activities, including site investigations, feasibility studies, design development, permitting, construction, and closeout.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, architects, planners, contractors, and clients, to ensure project objectives are met.

Conduct regular project meetings, prepare progress reports, and effectively communicate with stakeholders to provide project updates and address concerns.

Manage project risks, identify potential issues, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.

Oversee the preparation of engineering drawings, specifications, and other technical documents using Civil 3D software.

Mentor and provide guidance to junior staff members, fostering their professional development within the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field. Master's degree preferred.

Professional Engineer (PE) license required.

Minimum of 7 years of experience in civil land development, with a focus on residential, commercial, and/or industrial projects.

Proven experience in project management, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.

Proficiency in Civil 3D and other relevant engineering software.

Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to effectively prioritize tasks, solve problems, and make sound decisions under pressure.

Demonstrated commitment to quality, safety, and client satisfaction.
