Job Description
Responsibilities
Install and repair mechanical equipment and fixtures
Troubleshoot motor and control systems
Perform routine maintenance on all types of shop machinery, equipment and systems.
Adhere to all quality and safety codes
Repair and maintain machinery, electrical and computerized systems in accordance with diagrams, blueprints, operating manuals, or manufacturer's specifications. Equipment examples include pumps, hydraulics, motors, punch presses, lathes, saws, PLC, facility systems, etc.
Expand preventative & predictive maintenance programs.
Effectively troubleshoot mechanical and process issues in an independent manner.
Reduce downtime by performing root cause analysis on failures.
Test-run repaired machinery and equipment to verify the adequacy of installations & repairs.
Communicate effectively and work well with all employees, visitors, and vendors.
Perform other duties as required.
The essential functions of this role include:
wearing steel toe shoes
working in a non-temperature controlled environment
working up to 2 hrs. of overtime per week

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
