Accounting Clerk

Job Description

A Japanese Food Manufacturing company is seeking for an Accounting Clerk to join their team!

Location: Santa Fe Springs, CA / Los Angeles Area

Pay: $21-$24 (DOE) plus benefits

Status: Full time / Direct hire

Job Duty:

• Deliver and pick-up inter-office documents to/from sales office including checks

and cash daily

• Count and reconcile received payments, make deposit to bank by online banking,

and by courier accordingly

• Handle petty cash reimbursement, keep all receipts for recording, and reconcile

balance at month end

• Visit bank branch, withdraw cash to replenish petty cash fund

• Provide credit reference to venders to extend credit

• Enter and upload journal entries into system

Qualifications

• 2-year college degree, or 1-3 years of general accounting experience is a plus.

• Valid Driver’s license

• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles

• Ability to calculate, analyze, and manage financial records

• Knowledge of accounting software

• Demonstrates a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office/ ExcelCompany Description
