Robert Half is seeking a New Jersey barred attorney with Family Law experience to assist our client with an ongoing legal research initiative.

Project information:

* Start: May 2024

* Duration: 3 months with possibility of extension

* Pay: $40/hour

* Location: Remote

* Hours: 5-15 hours per week

Responsibilities include:

Our client is looking for a New Jersey family law attorney with at least 5 years’ experience to help draft, review, and revise practical guidance articles on family law topics, review and update affidavits, agreements, and other related family law documents and supplement existing documents with state-specific, “how-to” practical guidance based on state law, local custom, and legal practice experience.

Requirements:

* Law degree from an accredited law school

* Member, in good standing, of the New Jerseys State Bar

* 5+ years of experience as a practicing trusts and estates attorney

* Substantive experience drafting wills, trusts, powers of attorney, health care directives, and other estate planning documents

* Excellent writing, editing, and legal research skills

* Comfortable working in Microsoft Word with track changes and conducting online research

* Effective written and oral communication skills

* Ability to complete assigned projects by prescribed deadlines

* Organized, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage tasks effectively

Candidates must have 5+ years of experience as a practicing family law attorney in New Jersey to be considered for this role.

• Must possess a Law Degree from an accredited law school

• Experience in Family Law is essential

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and other related software

• Strong research and legal research skills are required

• Proven ability in drafting, editing, and reviewing legal documents, templates, and affidavits

• Must demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Familiarity with "About Time" and "Lexis" software is desirable

• The ability to conduct and manage case studies effectively

• Experience in documentation management is a must

• Must have completed Law School with good academic standing

• Strong skills in conducting legal research

• Exceptional ability in drafting legal documents is required.
