Financial Analyst

Job Description

Robert Half has a long term contract role for a Reporting Analyst. This role is within the Financial Analyst function, where you will be responsible for providing data analysis to support business decisions related to product and service pricing. You will work across various business segments to understand and improve current pricing methodologies. This role will involve handling large data sets, identifying market intelligence, and providing metrics that support the overall pricing strategy. This role is 100% onsite and will be 8am - 5pm.

Responsibilities:

• Construct and manage large, complex data sets and pricing models

• Conduct scenario/sensitivity analysis, and demand planning and forecasting

• Utilize data and non-data driven insights to facilitate decision-making processes

• Develop presentations, reports, and oral/written communications for various organizations within the company as needed

• Extract and analyze data to help make better decisions

• Identify causes of unexpected variances

• Extract data from various systems and databases

• Generate and maintain compliance reports

• Support the team's projects.

• Proficiency in ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems

• Demonstrated experience in budget processes and financial forecasting

• Solid understanding of finance principles and practices

• Ability to prepare and deliver executive presentations and financial presentations

• Proficient in Microsoft Power BI for data analysis and visualization or another software

• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field
